SSE Data Centres is providing the solution with a purpose built high capacity, energy efficient facility offering modular space. Current occupancy is based on a 5 year flexible phased contract, with a minimum power presentation of 3kW per rack. This will be increased over time and resourced from the dual 10 MW supplies (Upgrade capable). The facility can supply up to 25kW (over 100AMP) per rack, and with expansion space for over 1500 racks. The potential power savings that SSE can offer through the energy efficiency was an important factor in the client choosing the UK1 Data Centre.
